Efficient, hassle-free and environmentally conscious waste clearance and disposal.
To break down complex waste systems into something seamless.
To help our clients reduce their environmental impact with conscious waste management and disposal.
To close the loop on commercial waste management by reusing, reselling and recycling.
I set up OfficeClearance.com specifically to help people clearing or moving offices to be able to access efficient and environmentally conscious waste management. Because we own our own sorting and storage facilities, we can take the time needed for proper waste separation, saving items that can be reused, and ensuring everything else is recycled.
Reuse is where we have the biggest positive impact on our community and our environment.
After we collect your waste, it is separated in our facility according to waste type, and anything that works and/or is in good condition is taken to our storage facility.
We collect office chairs, desks, cupboards pedestals etc., and donate these to charities, or sell them on to second hand furniture companies.
Electrical items such as headphones, keyboard and mice etc. are donated to charity or sold on eBay.
Any e-waste items with memory, such as computers, servers, printers, telephone, mobile phones, switches etc., are sent on to specialist partners who wipe all data from the item, and then resell or use the items for parts for resale.
The income we receive from the sale of items goes to pay for the running costs of our storage facility, enabling us to grow and expand our reuse partnerships and productivity.
In our sorting facility, we separate out waste streams such as cardboard, wood and metal, for recycling into feedstock for new cardboard, wood and metal goods.
We recycle 99.8% of the waste that cannot be reused.
White goods, monitors, fluorescent light tubes etc. are all sent to specialist facilities where the items are degassed safely (where applicable) and then shredded under controlled conditions to ensure the safe recovery of materials used in the manufacture of the items, and these are then used as feedstock for new items to be manufactured.
Waste liquids such as paints and chemicals are separated by type and sent for treatment such as to make filter cake (used in products like fertilizers etc.) or energy via waste-to-energy incineration (heat created during incineration is captured ad used for energy production).
Our partner network includes charities both here in London and abroad, with one partner working to furnish schools in Africa with goods we have collected. We have a network of second-hand furniture companies, an eBay shop, and our avenues to work with our local community, providing furniture and other items for businesses on our industrial estate.
Because we run our own facilities, rather than relying on public tipping stations, we can do as promised when we talk about positive environmental impact for you and your business.
Founder & CEO
I first came into contact with Office Clearance in 2016 when the company I worked for was having a major relocation, with two offices combining into a large office in Chiswick Business Park. I spoke with Tara in the office and she was amazing, making everything so easy.
Eli came to our Hammersmith office for an obligation-free site visit, and created a bespoke quote for the removal of all waste and unwanted items left over after the move. I was impressed by their focus on reuse and the prevention of items becoming waste just because we no longer needed them. Their price was very competitive, so I was pleased to give them the job.
The collection process went very well, the team were professional, friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. I was so impressed that when looking for my next role I rang Eli to see if I could come and join them. I have now been a member of Office Clearance for 8 years, and I take pleasure in being able to help other companies in the same way Office Clearance helped me.
